Anderson “Sinho” Silverio discovered martial arts at age 10 in a social project in Cantagalo, Brazil RJ. He trained under his mentors Carlos Henrique and Andre Terencio. Earning his black belt in 2003 under Prof Carlos Henrique, he has since excelled both his instructing career and athletic career. His authentic style focuses on tactical skills and mental strength, rather than pure athleticism.
Although Anderson is experienced in wrestling, boxing, and MMA, his passion lays in GI BJJ and BJJ for MMA.
Jiu Jitsu Changes lives
As a child with limited resources growing up in Rio de Janeiro, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu played an important role in Anderson’s life. Discovering Jiu Jitsu at a young age provided an outlet which taught him discipline, respect, motivation, supported education, and encouraged a healthy life. Now, he is dedicated to giving back.
